There’s the simplicity of linguine cacio e pepe, lifted with mint water. Slow-cooked Wagyu brisket pappardelle with native vodka, chilli oil and kohlrabi. And potato gnocchi with seasonal mushrooms, porcini, tarragon and mascarpone.

Bring the family together this Sunday, 6 September, and celebrate Dad with a generous 2- or 3-course menu by Chef John.

Some Father’s Day decisions are difficult. Putting slow-roasted lamb shoulder and a good bottle of red in front of Dad isn’t one of them. 🍷

Join us at Prohibition on Sunday, 6 September for house-baked focaccia followed by your choice of two courses for $75 or three courses for $90.

Choose from entrées including chicken vol-au-vent and tuna crudo before the main event: slow-roasted lamb shoulder with twice-cooked chat potatoes, seasonal vegetables and red w**e jus. Three-course guests can finish with chocolate crème brûlée or apple and coconut crumble.

Our winter menu has been out for a little while now, which means you may already have a favourite, or a list of dishes you’re still planning to try.

Join us on Sunday, 6 September for two courses at $75 per person, or really treat Dad with three courses for $90 per person.

Start with house-baked sourdough focaccia and smoked cultured butter before choosing your entrée and main. Our slow-roasted lamb shoulder arrives with twice-cooked chat potatoes, carrots, broccolini and red w**e jus, with market fish and hand-rolled potato gnocchi also available. Head Chef John’s seasonal menu brings together slow-cooked meats, handmade pasta and quality winter produce. Think Wagyu Short Rib Croquettes slow-cooked for 12 hours, and Pappardelle tossed through a rich Wagyu brisket, native vodka and tomato sauce.

Featuring fresh-shaved Victorian black truffle throughout, the menu showcases one of winter's most sought-after ingredients across every course.
