Which is when the coffee comes out. Brewed in a stovetop percolator and poured straight to the table.

We pour our own label by the glass. Barossa shiraz, Coonawarra chardonnay, Yarra Valley rosé.

A red next to a wood-fired pizza on a cold Friday just makes sense.

Which means a lot of people watching nervously with a phone in the other hand.

Not everyone makes it as far as dessert. Fair enough, the pizzas aren't small.

But the fried Italian donuts are worth saving room for. Cinnamon sugar, house-made vanilla bean custard and nutella if you're that way inclined.

I Say Patata is one of them. Baked potato, taleggio, roasted red onion, crispy rosemary.

Doesn't sound right. Tastes exactly right.
