WE'RE HIRING: Casual Chef @ The Pocket, Moffat Beach
Know your way around a busy kitchen? We want you.
The Pocket is looking for a Casual Chef to join our crew — up to 25 hours a week, day and early evening shifts, weekends included. No split shifts.
What you'll be doing:
– Preparing and plating our day + evening menu to a high standard
– Holding your own during busy weekend and evening services
– Working tight with kitchen and floor to keep it all flowing
– Keeping on top of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
– Helping manage stock, prep and mise en place
Our perfect match:
– A qualified chef, or solid hands-on kitchen experience
– Weekend and evening availability
– A team-first attitude and a cool head when it gets busy
– Pride in your work and an eye for detail on the plate
– Genuine interest in being part of The Pocket team.
