Four years of showing up, getting stuck in, keeping things moving, and being a big part of the Pizza Place Calliope crew. From busy nights to the quiet ones, Piper has been right in the middle of it all, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her!

Thanks for everything you bring to the team, Piper. We’re so lucky to have you.

🍕 WE’RE HIRING! 🍕

Our Grade 12 crew has moved on, so we’re looking for 3 awesome juniors to join our crew at Pizza Place Calliope. Casual position, good vibes, pizza perks.

About you: -
- Actually like people (we're a tight crew, not just coworkers) 🤝
- Friendly, reliable, and not afraid to talk to people
- Happy to jump in, get your hands dirty and work as part of a team
- Available nights and weekends
- Keen to learn (no experience needed – we’ll train you!)

The gig: Taking orders, making pizzas, cutting pizzas, all things pizzas. You know, the usual. Maybe eating some pizza... Definitely eating some pizza 🍕

Hours: Shifts are 4.30pm–8pm (2-3 shifts per week)

Got sport or other commitments? Cool. Just let us know your unavailability and we'll work around it 👍

Big news from the back of house 🍕

The oven is FIXED 🙌 (cue happy dances), and we are officially back doing what we do best, slinging pizzas at full speed again!!

We also need to give some very loud love to the legends who made it happen:

Rhys & Lincoln from Barnes Electrical. It was a tricky job, not a smooth ride, but they absolutely nailed it!!

Steve from Heatech, who answered the phone Saturday at 7:40pm, talked us through testing Sunday morning, and had a fan motor overnighted first thing Monday. That’s next-level service 👏

And to top it all off… it’s Jess’s last shift tonight 🥹 We are going to miss her so much, but we are so excited for what's next for her!

If you needed a sign to come grab a pizza tonight, this is it 🍕

Here's the deal: one lucky legend will score a pizza of YOUR choice, garlic bread AND a soft drink. On us.

Hey Calliope, we have a favour to ask! ❤️
Would you mind being a little extra patient with our team for next couple of days! You worked our big pizza ovens butt off over the holidays and now it's decided it needs a little break and a few repairs. But don't stress, our small oven is still running like a superstar and the new parts are on their way with an install expected for Wednesday!
