First time at Bang Bang Noosa? Here’s one way to do it—from the opening cocktail to the final pour. Not the only way, of course. You’ll need another visit for that.
Start with a cocktail. Harvest Moon or Miyagi’s Margi? Order one of each and call it research. A very solid beginning to dinner at Bang Bang Noosa.
First bite: Kingfish Sashimi. Fresh, bright and gone suspiciously quickly once it reaches the middle of the table. Order accordingly.
Skipping the kingfish? Start with the Garlic Chive Miang instead. Fresh, punchy and far too good to be treated like the alternative.
Then, another round. The Crouching Tiger brings bourbon, yuzushu, lemon and lemongrass together in one deceptively easy drink. It would be rude not to.
For the main event: smoky BBQ Ocean Trout in Banana Leaf or deeply savoury G*i Yang Chicken. Choose one....or abandon restraint and order both for the table.
Not just for the veggie lovers. The Fragrant Yellow Curry is earthy, aromatic and built for spooning over rice. Make room.
Roti Canai or jasmine rice? This isn’t the moment for difficult decisions. Order both and leave no sauce behind.
You’ve made it through cocktails, little bangs, big bangs and sides. You may as well finish properly. No one is asking you to leave yet.
Dessert is one option. Something a little stronger is another. The Barrel Aged Negroni makes a very convincing argument for the latter.
That’s one way to order at Bang Bang Noosa. Regulars, tell us your non-negotiable. First-timers, save this for later—you’ll want a plan when the menu lands.
