Of late, Luu has been getting a little restless.
A little curious.
And, frankly… a little cheeky.
You see Luu likes to host, she likes to nourish, but she also likes to play.
And so, she has gotten a little cosy with her friends over at Mystic Valley Events, and has decided to unlock the doors to her private den and give you all Licence to Play at her first Speakeasy Jazz night.
Licence to Play is your invitation to settle in for an evening of good company and timeless jazz.
For this first Licence to Play we are honoured to present the Lila Swain Quartet.
The Lila Swain Quartet brings together voice, piano, bass and drums for an evening of timeless jazz. Drawing from the great American songbook alongside warm bossa nova grooves and original compositions rendered in classic jazz style, the quarter conjures a mood that’s equal parts nostalgic and elegant, the kind of music that feels half-remembered from another era.
