To our Main St family,
Ten years ago, we opened our doors on Jonson St not really knowing what we were building. What we found - what you gave us - turned out to be so much more than a burger restaurant. It became a community. A home. A chapter of our lives we'll carry with us forever.
To every single person who pulled up a stool, shared a meal, brought your families, celebrated your milestones, and kept coming back - thank you.
Genuinely, from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason this place has meant so much, and you are the reason saying goodbye is so hard.
To our past and present staff: you are the soul of Main St. Every shift, every late night, every personality you brought through that door shaped something truly special. This legacy belongs to you too.
After much deliberation, we've made the difficult decision to close our doors for the final time. The building has been sold, and the pressures that so many independent venues in Byron are quietly battling - rising rents, wage increases, the relentless roadworks on Jonson St - have made it impossible to continue.
It's a reality that's hitting independents across this town, and it's one that genuinely saddens us. The character of Byron lives in places like this, and we hope that's never forgotten.
But before we go, we want to celebrate - loudly and with you.
We'll be open through June, running some special promotions, and our last service will be Sunday, July 5th. Then on Friday, July 10th, we're throwing one final party. Come find us. Let's do this properly.
And this is not goodbye forever. You'll still find us at Stone & Wood Brewery, still doing what we do best. And we'll see you soon at Tokyo Doll.
