Coffee Talk is a game about listening to people’s problems and helping them by serving up a warm drink out of the ingredients you have in stock. It is a game that depicts lives as humanly as possible, while having a cast that is more than just humans.

Oh, how time flies!

During the lock down period, many of us have utilised the time to develop a new skill, expand our education, become “tic tok” famous OR grow your business.
⠀
The .burringbar team have definitely utilised this time well!
⠀
It’s been quite a few months since I was last out sampling all the different kinds of coffee’s that Jack could send my way. So I found myself thinking last week I better get out and check out how the café is doing and see if I can get my hands one of the many unique products they always seem to have out there.

I arrive out there only to see what a difference a little time has done to the place!
⠀
People inside and out all enjoying all expertly prepare coffee paired, colourful delectable food as well as and amazing atmosphere.

I’m super proud of them from where they have come from to this date. New menu items and all round refinement of the business is amazing to see.
⠀
I look forward to the next time I head out to Elwood to see what they have done next.
⠀

Although we’re still in the midst of manufacturing for Ode, we’re excited about our grinder’s early performance data—both qualitative and quantitative. For qualitative testing, we’ve run a series of sensory tests with leading industry experts—brewing coffee ground by Ode and grading it against other leading café and home grinders. Feedback on Ode’s performance from those sensory tests have been summed up on our Kickstarter page.

But now for the juicy coffee nerd stuff—the quantitative data! We’ve done a ton of work asking what metrics matter the most to our users, and the first dataset we wanted to release is Ode’s grind profile at two grind settings.

Those of you who are a fan of the ALT mylk market, might recognise the all too familiar red and yellow logo of one of the best Soy mylk’s on there on the market.

Yes you did read this right… This is Organic Sparkling Coconut water made by Bonsoy.

Finding this could not have come at a better time for me in the quest to creating my own “small batch, artisanal, home brewed coffee soda” (if anyone can add more buzz words to that please let me know)

This drink is not something I would not usually buy, purely from the fact that it just seems like a faux pas to add crisp sparkling bubbles to the velvety smooth texture we all know and love of coconut water.
⠀
So being the brand loyal consumer that I am, I decided to buy this purely on the brand name sake just to try and say “well that’s a thing”.
⠀
Bonsoy once again you have not let me down! This drink was very intriguing from the first sip. Sparkling smooth but tart sweetness with bubbles of awesome… I really don’t know how to describe it other than inspiring.

Inspiring? The ingredient list on this drink is very simple and to the point, “Coconut Water and Sparking water” and that’s it... Wow inspiring (slow clap)…

One things that has really thrown me on the path of making coffee soda, is that the processes that I have had to endure just to produce and okish tasting “soda” drink.
⠀
So I’m using this inspiration to look at my processes and strip back what I think may not be needed in making my drink. Maybe some of the steps are adding more trouble then good, Or maybe they are needed… I dont know?

But at least I am inspired to try new things and stay on my quest.

Its not often I find a Kickstarter that I could fully understand and know that the final product will be amazing.

Fellow have really nailed it with this new Grinder.
I cannot wait to get my pre order when it ships later in this year.

The Panamanian-grown brew is said to represent a fourth wave of very expensive specialty coffee.
