On Sunday June 21st our intimate Sunday live music series continues with a very special visit from one of the South West’s most entertaining musical collectives – The Dunn Bay Wailers.

Originally forming in Dunsborough, The Wailers have built a loyal following around the South West region with their rousing blend of sea shanties, maritime folk songs and spirited singalongs.

Expect soaring harmonies, tales of the high seas, accordions, guitars, mandolins and plenty of opportunities to join in from your seat.

Whether you’re a seasoned sailor, a folk music tragic or simply curious to see what all the fuss is about, this promises to be one of the most entertaining Sunday sessions of the season.

Once again we’re bringing the record store to Busselton for the day as some of our favourite South West vinyl vendors fill the tav with thousands of vintage records for sale!

Whether you’re chasing rare finds, filling gaps in the collection or simply looking for an excuse to spend the afternoon surrounded by good tunes, good drinks and good people, Spin City is the perfect way to spend a winter Saturday.

We’ll have arvo DJs on deck for all your shopping soundtracks + winter beers, cocktails and our delicious weekend lunch menu on the go.

PLUS! This round we’ll be raffling off a $100 Gold Record voucher to be used with any of our vendors on the day! Every food purchase receives a raffle ticket, so grab yourself a burger and you might head home with some free wax!

THE PANICS AT BANKSIA THIS SUNDAY!

Our live music series continues this weekend and we’re very excited to be welcoming The Panics to to the front bar stage at Banksia!

Just a quick reminder that this is a sold out ticketed event and the venue will be closed to non-ticket holders from 3pm till 5:30pm.

For those lucky enough to snag a spot, some info for you below!

• VINYL DJ SET FROM 5:30PM

PLUS! The first 10 punters through the door will receive a special autographed concert poster, signed by the band and featuring original artwork by The Panics frontman Jae Laffer himself. Get in early to pick one up!

After the gig the lads will be sticking around to say g’day in the front bar and will also be spinning a one-off vinyl DJ set for the night, full of stellar records from their personal collections.

Gonna be a very special night at the Tav, we look forward to seeing you all there!

Missed out on a ticket? We’ll be running a live audio stream to our licensed alfresco area out front and serving up tinnies for those who’d still like to soak up the atmosphere! Alfresco seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.

‘SPICE IS NICE’ returns on the 10th of June for a dreamy mid-week date with Dahl Daddys! 🌶️🔥🍛

For one night only, we’re flipping the script and bringing our spicy culinary series to a Wednesday night at Banksia and this round we’re stoked to welcome Chef Corey Rozario of Dahl Daddy’s into the kitchen alongside our own Chef Laura – the two drawing from their flavour-first take on diasporic silk road fare.

Built around the movement of spices, gold and ideology, these two celebrated Chefs are excited to come together for the first time to bring you the food that they love – the best of South West produce in Southern and Southeast Asian style fare.

Expect a flavourful array of snacks, curries, sides and condiments – all made for sharing and exploring the vastness of the ‘Spice is Nice’ ethos. Join us for a very special night of dining and enjoy the food that means so much to them.

Bookings are open now via the website, so grab your spice inclined friends and lock in a mid-week curry night you’ll never forget!
