Long Weekend Closure Post

But this long weekend, in a surprising plot twist…
Mog’s is going to be somewhere else.

Possibly beside a fire.
Possibly wrapped in seven layers.
Possibly questioning the wisdom of winter camping with dogs.
Destination still under negotiation. 😂

We’ll be closed from 11am Saturday 6 June, and back with the coffee machine firing on Tuesday 9 June from 6am.

Thank you for choosing us for your everyday saves, travel-day fuel stops and proper-coffee breaks on the road.
This weekend, we’re taking a little road trip of our own.

We’re so excited to be welcoming local Burra homesteader Frugal Country Home to Mog’s Café for a very special sourdough morning.

On Sunday 14 June from 7am, she’ll be bringing in a freshly baked range of sourdough goodies, including:

🌿 Herb crackers
✨ Bagel seed loaves

🤎 Sourdough cinnamon scrolls

Service interruption.

We will be closing at 1pm today to prepare for a full day without power tomorrow (Monday 1st June).

The outage is isolated to our building as there are electrical upgrades to the business behind us.

We will be re-opening 6am Tuesday 2nd June, 2026.

Fresh from our little Paw Patrol-inspired babyccino moment yesterday, we’ve just found out that **Mog’s has been nominated for Best Babyccino** in the Kids In Adelaide awards!

Our tiny customers take their babyccinos very seriously… and apparently their grown-ups do too. 🥹

Nominations close **TODAY**, so if your little one loves a Mog’s babyccino, we would be absolutely tickled pink if you popped in a nomination for us.

SA’s BEST BABYCCINO 2026 NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!

It’s tiiiiiime! Our Annual search for SA’s Best Babyccino 2026 is kicking off right now!

Every year before winter we make a call out to you guys to help us find the best cups of frothy goodness for our little people, so if you have a favourite or a deserving local cafe, shout them out in the comments below….

Maybe they are free, cheap, totally extra, creative, served with exceptional service or just plain delicious. What ever your reason, it will fly with us.

If you can send us a photo, even better!

Nominations will remain open until Friday May 29th. We then count up the top ten cafes with the most number of nominations, and throw voting over to you guys, with photos, from Sunday 31st May. Voting will close on Saturday 6th June , with a winner announced on Sunday night 7th June 2026.

Followers, cafe owners, baristas, grandmas, neighbours, business owners, and even puppuccino consumers are all highly encouraged to nominate right now by dropping a comment or tag for your favourite babyccino slinging cafe below……… and GO!
