What started in 1976 as a celebration of the cultures that shaped our school has grown into one of our most cherished community traditions.
From our strong Italian, Greek and Aboriginal family roots to the many cultures represented today, the Buronga Public School International Food Festival continues to bring people together through food, connection and community.

Snap on Mildura has kindly donated Snap On Monster Impact Wrench Bundle (RRP: $1,941.00)

For more than 20 years, this family has been deeply connected to Buronga Primary School and the wider Buronga community. Their journey began in 2002 when they purchased the Buronga Mini‑Mart (now Buronga Bakery) and enrolled their children in local schools.

They quickly became active community members — serving in the Buronga Fire Brigade for over a decade and the Buronga/Gol Gol Lions Club for five years. The International Food Festival became a cherished family tradition, from bringing the fire truck for kids to explore to running the Greek souvlaki stall, which became one of the festival’s busiest attractions.

After moving on from the Mini‑Mart, they built Snap‑on Tools Mildura and later relocated to Red Cliffs, where the business continued to grow. Despite moving away, Buronga remained a special place filled with lifelong friendships and meaningful memories.

Their support for Buronga Primary School today is grounded in gratitude for a community that shaped their family’s life, values and connections.
