To all our wonderful customers…

After 2 ½ years at the Burekup our time has come to an end.

Not because we haven’t thoroughly enjoyed our time with you, and not because our little business was unsuccessful.

Unfortunately personal circumstances have changed and we’ve had to make the difficult decision to step back to allow us to manage these changes.

We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the club, the committee and club members for supporting our little venture for these last 2 ½ years.

The Burekup and Districts Country Club is a fantastic organisation which provides many services to the community and we encourage you to please keep supporting them.

Our departure also means additional opportunities for local food vans and food retailers, so please continue to visit, enjoy their food and keep supporting local.

Unfortunately when firing up, we have discovered our appliances are out of action and we are unable to run food service tonight, as we cannot resolve the issues in time.

All being well we will be back at full capacity next week.

We sincerely apologise and thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately, while Jen has recovered, Jo fell ill on the weekend and neither she, Lucy or Ned are well enough to trade.

Our priority is the health and wellbeing of ourselves and our customers so unfortunately it will be another week until we return to the kitchen.

****** KITCHEN CLOSED DUE TO ILLNESS******

One of the problems with a family run business is when the Lurgy Gods visit, we all suffer.

Lucy, Ned and Jen have all been struck down which means we are many hands short for trade tomorrow, Friday 3rd July.

When it comes to illness, especially in food service, sharing is NOT caring. So with the health and wellbeing of the team and our customers in mind, the kitchen will not be operating tomorrow evening.

However, the bar and atmosphere at Burekup & District Country Club will still be alive and kicking, and we look forward to seeing everyone next week and taking the burden of cooking off your hands as we power through another school holidays!

Seriously, we have the best customers!

Our freezer ‘ooops’ didn’t deter you, and our frantic shop for extra stock and kitchen hysteria making more burgers was definitely worth it! 😆

Thanks for showing up week after week guys and supporting this awesome little club.

We’ll see you next week with a full menu!

Important kitchen announcement !!

**BURGER NIGHT**

Hey everyone , unfortunately we have lost power to the main freezer sometime during the week and we have lost a lot of stock😭

We are here frantically trying to pivot and Jo is busy making burgers to fill the gap.
We will not have the full menu tonight but we will have

Tasty mama burgers
Cheeseburgers
Bacon cheeseburgers
Chicken burgers
Steak sandwiches
And a limited number of fish and chips
Kids menu still available but unfortunately no ice cream

We broke another sales record tonight…

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone (regulars and newbies alike) who came to our little club for dinner.

We produced 78 meals in approximately 2hrs 45 minutes, which equates to sending out a meal every two minutes from little kitchen with two deep fryers and a flatplate.

If you waited for a meal, our sincere thanks for your patience. It doesn’t feel nice to know people are waiting, and the two of us (with help from our tiny crew of kitchen helpers) are working as fast as we possibly can to get your meals out the door.

This little club is a Shire owned facility which is run by dedicated volunteers from the community, and they do an absolutely stellar job.

If you enjoy the great atmosphere, company and great prices (and don’t mind a wait while you enjoy yourself), then this is the place for you on a Friday and we welcome your patronage each and every week!

Thanks again for your support, we’ll be back next week wielding our tongs and spatulas!

🍔🍟🍺🍔🍟🍺WE HAVE A SPECIAL!!! 🍺🍟🍔🍺🍟🍔

As the club gets busier we’re going to start throwing in some specials *just* in case you are tired of your fave Tasty Mama dish (nahh, not possible, right? 😆)

This week we have…

🐔Chicken Parmi Burger🐔
Southern style 100% chicken breast burger, a roasted capsicum, percorino and cashew parmi sauce, topped with bacon, melted four cheese blend, mayo and lettuce, served with chips for $25.

Jen ate a cold schnitzel topped with this special parmi sauce yesterday (what diet?) and it was still 👌🏻

We’ll be making one of these babies for ourselves today so stay tuned for a pic!

Kitchen open 5.30pm, bar open 5pm (hydration is important people). Takeaway welcome.

🍺🍟🍔🍺🍟🍔 HAPPY FRIDAY 🍔🍟🍺🍔🍟🍺

The kitchen is firing up, ready for Friday night at the Burekup.

We are busying away to be as prepped as possible but we do have one problem… and it’s a great problem to have, in that we are getting consistently busier every week!

But that does mean that wait times can stretch out longer than we’d like. We know we have said it before, that as great as our kitchen is, it is only little. There are just 👸🏻TWO 👸🏻of us working the flatplate and fryers, but this is how we manage to keep our prices family friendly

6-7pm is our busiest hour, and from the 1st June we’ll be going back to winter service hours starting from 5pm.

If waiting doesn’t bother you, thank you champs! Otherwise head on in early to beat the rush. There is always the fabulous bar with equally great prices where you can enjoy a few drinks and great company while you wait, whether you dine in or takeaway.

As always, thanks for supporting our little business and a big shout out to the great work of the volunteer committee members who keep this facility going with heaps of activities every week!

It sure is, which means we’ll be at the Club very soon getting prepped to feed everyone while you kick off the weekend!

Head on down and enjoy a drink while someone else sorts out dinner and does the clean up 👏

Bar open at 5pm, meals from 5.30pm. Takeaway welcome.

Meat raffle and member’s draw is on as always!
