💚 THE END OF AN ERA… AND THE BEGINNING OF A NEW CHAPTER 💚
After nine incredible years of Foodey Meal Kits, the time has come for us to hand over the meal kit baton and close a chapter that has meant more to us than we could ever put into words.
What started as a little idea in our Beach Road deli grew into thousands of Foodey boxes, hundreds of recipes and countless dinners shared around tables across the South West.
But the greatest thing we built wasn’t the Meal Kits - It was our Foodey Family. 💚
You welcomed us into your homes, trusted us with your family dinners, cooked our recipes, tried new flavours, shared your favourites, recommended us to friends and supported our little South West business week after week.
Some of you have been with us since those early Beach Road days. Some found us during the craziness of COVID, and others joined us somewhere along the way. We’ve watched families grow, shared stories, had plenty of laughs and made some truly wonderful friendships.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. 💚
Thank you for supporting local, supporting our team and allowing Foodey to become a small part of your lives for the past nine years. We will never take that for granted.
Our final Foodey Meal Kits will be prepared on Monday 14 September, and from there, the wonderful WA family behind Dinner Twist will take the lead.
They share our love of great food, quality ingredients and making life around the dinner table easier - and we’ll definitely be ordering their Meal Kits ourselves! After all these years, we know just how much easier they make busy weeks… and a whole lot tastier too.
While our Meal Kit chapter is ending, Foodey Ready Made is staying right here in the South West, and we are incredibly excited about what lies ahead - more meals, new offerings and plenty more delicious things to come.
Foodey was born in the South West, built in the South West and supported by this incredible community, and we couldn’t be prouder that its story will continue here.
There may be a few tears as we pack those final Meal Kits, but mostly we feel incredibly lucky.
To every person who ordered a box, cooked a Foodey dinner, told a friend about us, sent us a beautiful message, supported our team or simply cheered us on - thank you for being part of our story.
This isn’t goodbye - It’s simply the next chapter. 💚
You have always been, and will always be, our Foodey Family.
