Mumma's Beans

Mumma's Beans Available in lower or no caffeine. When I fell pregnant, I was overwhelmed by all the information about what I could, and mainly, shouldn’t eat or drink.

Mumma's Beans Coffee is Australia's first low acid coffee, tailored for pregnant and breastfeeding mums, as well as coffee lovers with sensitivities to acidity and high caffeine in regular coffees. What if I told you there is a coffee that smells and tastes amazing, doesn't give you the coffee jitters and is organically grown here in Australia? A coffee that gives you the much needed burst of ener

gy but that you don’t need to feel guilty about when enjoying it while you’re pregnant 🤰🏼 or breastfeeding🤱🏽? Even though the Australian Health Organisation advises about 200mg of caffeine a day (which means one to two coffees, depending on how you prepare it) are fine during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, I often still felt guilty drinking it. I know a lot of mummas don’t drink any coffee or only decaf just to be safe, but I looked forward to my daily cup so much. It was more than just drinking the coffee, it was allowing 5min for myself to take a break from working, folding the laundry or generally 😅

But I often still felt guilty having it. So with Mumma’s Beans, I wanted to create a product that wasn’t just ticking all the boxes of a high quality coffee that smelled and tasted amazing ☕️

I wanted a product that more mums would feel comfortable drinking while pregnant or breastfeeding, knowing it had about 20% less caffeine than regular coffee, and was grown organically without any pesticides or chemicals. This coffee is for you mummas 💓

If you’ve had bad decafs before you know 😆

I’ve definitely had plenty - finding our organic brew was a journey, especially since there is no decaf production here in Australia.
Mumma’s Beans Organic Decaf is not only decaffeinated using water instead of chemicals and tested mycotoxin, mould and yeast free - it actually tastes good!

I mean, decaf has lots of the health benefits of regular coffee without the buzz, but who cares if it just tastes bitter and bland?!

We’re really grateful for your reviews and feedback, on our website or like Cindy in a simple email, it means a lot!

Keep them coming, please 🥰☕️🤩

Black coffee benefits: Did you know? ☕️
Black coffee is rich in polyphenols and chlorogenic acid and maximises antioxidant absorption.
What does that mean? It’s protecting your liver health and lowers your disease risks, especially cognitive and cardiovascular diseases 🥰

How do you have your coffee?
I usually add milk, but today we were out so I had a few black coffees instead… and they were good!!

Such a beautiful day at the Providore Marketplace yesterday ☀️

Made me realise how much I’ve missed having the face to face interaction with customers and fellow market stallholders, so maybe it won’t take us a year to do another one 😅

And if you haven’t been to check out the stunning site or have a meal at the Bundanon Gallery, go check it out, even the drive is already worth it 😍

Did I ever imagine I’d go from sourcing large scale fruit and veg to selling skincare?
… definitely not!

Am I enjoying sharing the skincare I’ve been making and using myself for years with you?
… definitely yes 🥰

Did you know only 1% of the coffee we consume in Australia is grown in Australia?

So 99% of coffee is imported travelling thousands of kilometres to land in your cup, mostly in developing countries and harvested by hand.

The main coffee growing regions in Australia are Far North Queensland, Southern Queensland and Northern NSW, which is where our Mumma’s Beans are grown on a family owned farm.

So with every cup of Mumma’s Beans Australian Coffee you support not only our small business, but also our Australian coffee farmers so that hopefully we can shift the % over time and enjoy more locally grown coffee.

Your support means more than you know ☕️💛

I started Mumma’s Beans because I wanted a coffee that didn’t make me feel awful when I was pregnant and breastfeeding.

What I didn’t expect was how many people were looking for exactly the same thing.

🟣 Today’s World IBD Day is a solemn reminder of the 180,000 Australians suffering with IBD (inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis), which often means having to cut out coffee.

Knowing that Mumma’s Beans can help bringing that little ritual of a morning coffee back into someone’s life - more than I had ever hoped for ☕️💛

Another Monday, another coffee 😅☕️😋

Do any of these three things happen to you when you drink coffee?

For me it’s usually no. 2 😂
Sometimes 3, and luckily usually no more 1.
