Warung Peri will be taking an extended break.
This Saturday will be our last day open for a while, with Warung Peri reopening on Tuesday, 10 November.
Following my recent retirement, we finally have the opportunity to spend some time travelling before returning home in November.
We’d love to see as many of our wonderful customers as possible this week before we go away. So if you’ve been thinking about a Rendang, Nasi Goreng, Satay or one of your other Warung Peri favourites, come in and see us before Saturday!
Thank you, as always, for supporting our little Indonesian restaurant here in Bulahdelah. We really appreciate the support we receive from our local community and visitors to the area.
We look forward to seeing you this week and welcoming everyone back when we reopen on Tuesday, 10 November. ❤️

UPDATE - WARUNG PERI
We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the incredible support, kind messages, comments, and understanding shown towards Warung Peri over the past week. The response from the community has honestly meant more to us than words can express.
At this stage, discussions are still ongoing and, for the moment, Warung Peri will continue trading as normal until there is further clarity moving forward.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support while we work through things, and we look forward to continuing to see everyone at the shop in the meantime.

After much thought, we would like to let everyone know that Warung Peri will be closing in the coming weeks following advice from the property owners that our tenancy arrangement will be ending.
This decision was not one we had planned or hoped for, and it is something we are very saddened by after being part of the community for the nearly five years.
When we first took over the shop, the premises had been sitting empty for some years. Through a lot of hard work, dedication, and support from the community, Peri built Warung Peri from nothing into a well-known local business, proudly maintaining a 4.9 Google review rating and creating a welcoming family-friendly place where people could enjoy Indonesian food in a relaxed atmosphere.
We are incredibly grateful for the support, kindness, friendships, and loyalty shown to us by our customers during this time. We would also like to sincerely thank our staff, both past and present, for all of their hard work, loyalty, and support over the years. Warung Peri would not have been what it became without them.
At this stage, we plan to remain open over the next two weekends, with the last day of trading being Saturday 24th May, before beginning the process of closing and clearing the shop.
We would truly love to see as many familiar faces as possible before our final day and thank everyone personally for supporting us throughout the years.

Warung Peri Update 🌿

Peri is back from his holiday and ready to get back into the kitchen!

We’ll be open again from 5pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
He’s really looking forward to seeing everyone and serving up your favourite dishes.
