A Rangoli is a traditional Indian art form where colourful patterns are created on the floor, often at the entrance to a home, using materials such as coloured rice, flour, sand or flower petals.

Rangoli designs are a symbol of welcome, happiness, prosperity and good fortune and are often created during festivals and special celebrations.

Here, the kids are getting involved and creating a beautiful rice Rangoli — carefully filling the intricate design with colourful grains of rice. ❤️💚🧡
