WE’RE HIRING - MAROOCHYDORE

We’re looking for a part-time Cook and hospitality All Rounder to join our crew at John Kyle Maroochydore.

We’re keeping the search pretty open. Maybe you're an experienced chef or a cook who loves the café environment. Bonus points if you can jump in as an all rounder.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, works well with a team, takes pride in what they do and cares about good hospitality!

The role is approximately 20–25 hours per week, working within our daytime café trade. Weekends essential.

We did it. $20,000 raised for Hazel. 💚

Friday the 31st was massive. 1001 coffees sold across our four venues, plus another $1699 raised through cash donations in store. Seeing so many of you come through the doors for Hazel was something else.

A huge shout out to the businesses who donated products so we could maximise every dollar that went to the cause:

This is what it's all about. Sunshine Coast businesses coming together to make a bigger impact than any of us could on our own.

Since joining the Running for Hazel team in early July, we've hit our $20,000 goal. That's a combined effort from so many generous local businesses and individuals, and we're still a bit blown away by it.

Special mention to Pinnacle Certification, where Declan works. Zac from Pinnacle donated a whopping $4,000. ❤️

This Friday 31st, we're donating $1 from every coffee sold across all four stores - the three JKs plus Homegrown. Then on Sunday, Matt will be running the Sunshine Coast Marathon alongside Hazel's dad, Declan, to help raise funds for Hazel. 💚

Why? Because Hazel is outgrowing her current running pram, and we want to help fund a custom-made pram that will keep her safe and comfortable as she joins Declan on the many kilometres still to come. Declan will also be taking Hazel with him for the marathon, continuing to share those big moments together.

Our goal is $20,000, and we'd love your help getting there.
