These cupcakes were made to show appreciation to the incredible team at The Prince Charles Hospital for their continued care, support and kindness throughout a 10-year journey.

To all the doctors, nurses and caregivers who have been part of our customer’s journey — thank you. Your dedication, compassion and care for all of your patients mean more than words can say.

For those who’ve been following me for a while, you may remember Isaac’s cake from last year… the one where I melted a hole in my favourite bowl!

This year’s challenge was definitely at the opposite end of the scale — from serial killers to a request for a Pepsi can.

Hmmm… I wonder what next year will bring!

Birthday girl’s design… and I think I nailed it!

A little slice of tropical paradise, created completely in buttercream—soft, silky, and beautifully swirled in sun-kissed yellows, ocean blues, and sandy neutrals. Every detail feels like a beach escape, from the creamy texture of the frosting to the playful handmade cookie palm tree and glowing sun that bring her vision to life.

The wait is over…

Remember my “most difficult customer ever”?

Well, here she is!

No budget.
No payment.
Endless design requests.
And somehow still expected VIP service.

And the final cost? A few extra grey hairs!

But in all seriousness… this one was a little different. Making your own daughter’s 18th birthday cake is pretty special.
