Great couple of days in Sydney catching up with my home buddy, Eliza, child hood friend from Starachowice!

Imagine the joys of reuniting, strolling the beautiful little streets of Bondi and finding … PIEROGI at local shop!

I mean. It made us both very happy 😁

And as much as I wish this moment could last forever… it’s time to go back to Melbourne and get ready for next Sunday, November 16 at Federation Square.

Well, Melbourne, it’s been a hot little minute since our last outdoor event….

We have eased on the event side, as we got busy with our restaurant and it became too hard to both.

But there are some events that you just can’t say “NO” to. And well, at Federation Square is one of them!

I can already feel the muscle 💪 soreness of the next day but before that day, there’s the day of the festival… and that is the fun day, so LETS HAVE SOME FUN, shall we??

This coming Thursday 27th of February is TŁUSTY CZWARTEK (Fat Thursday).

The beginning of Lent and a feast time in many European traditions and cultures.

In possibly the greatest of all Polish traditions, on Fat Thursday you get to eat as many Paczki (Polish Doughnuts) as you can.

Yes. Seriously.

In Poland on Fat Thursday the lines for the bakery to buy Paczki will go forever!!

The difference between a REAL Polish doughnut and what we call doughnuts in Australia is massive so we are going to give you a chance to try the REAL POLISH PACZKI at our restaurant - Eat Pierogi Make Love! this Thursday.

Mind you, we will have a limited amount of them so first come, first served. We are open from 5pm.

If you wish to stay for dinner, you can just come by and stay, no bookings necessary. However, if you are coming with a larger group, it’s best to book!

Each pack contains traditional Polish Christmas meals for 2 people, each pack cost $150

This year we decided to keep it simple and not split the items. The only thing that can be purchased additionally to the pack OR without the need to order the pack at all, are PIEROGI.
