The humble toast. This was the inspiration for opening a Japanese bakery in Brisbane, having been back to Japan numerous times, each time looking forward to grabbing some thick-cut Japanese bread from the supermarket, toasting it, slathering it with butter, then devouring it 🍞🧈😍
So simple and delicious 😋

We’ve been truly overwhelmed over the last few days, by the countless messages of well-wishes, disappointed faces, “noooooo”s and “thank you”s 😳

We’ve been welcoming many more customers through our doors - and while this makes us so happy and grateful for everyone’s support, we’re also sorry if you’ve come by and not found what you were after, as we’ve been selling out much earlier than usual 🙇🏻
(Our weekdays are usually quieter than our weekends, so we’re a bit afraid of what the next few weekends might bring... 😅)

We’ve also been receiving a lot of orders, especially for the weekend. We’ll do our best to accept and fill all of the orders we receive, but this might not always be possible - and we thank you in advance for your understanding 🙏
