***FUNDRAISER***
One of my goals in 2025 was to participate in fundraising, not yet having decided who/what I would support. In late 2024 the horrible news that my big Cousin had been diagnosed with a rare Endometrial cancer determined who I’d support.
In honour of her, and all the women fighting gynaecological cancers, I decided when the time came, I would shave my hair with her. I kept this decision from my family, but gave work the heads up. With their encouragement and support I created fundraising page that many of them have generously donated to, and this past Saturday 25th of January the time came and now I’m rocking a baldy! These are some of my favourite pictures from the weekend.
I have chosen to support who are committed to creating a kinder tomorrow by funding life-changing clinical trials and research for gynaecological cancer patients.
I am running 2 x bake sales on Saturday 8th and 15th of February to not only help me reach my fundraising goal but to also support my Cousin.
