Why do they not tell you the truth? Card fees ARE NOT disappearing. The banks are still collecting the money! The businesses that CANNOT swallow the surcharge fee ( think 10-15k a year) are going to get rid of something to cover that amount…… what would that be? Staff? So someone else loses their job so banks can make money.
Customers? You have to pay more to cover the banks making more money?
Stock? So you are faced with less options to buy so banks can make more money? It is common sense…. The money has to come from somewhere so the banks can still collect their billions of dollars they get from you as the customer using your card. Think about it…..

We have to ask - the system is failing and people are not listening. The governments, councils and insurance companies need to listen or you won’t have anywhere to go for a yummy gelato, morning coffee, to buy fresh flowers for your Mum, get you hair done every 6 weeks, pop down to get your treats at night or order off DoorDash. The businesses wont exist anymore….. and landlords out there - take note - you will have your buildings empty and the bank will foreclose on you. This is a serious situation - everyone has to start realising and vote for different leaders and change policies. The people who create the policies sit behind a desk and do not own a business. They have NO concept of the real world. Government workers are not the ones to make these rules, it’s the business owners, the people in the day to day battle of business ownership.

This is a good, quick rundown on what goes on behind the scenes in small business and what we face everyday. If you want to be a small business champion and supporter, then actually support them and not just go in ask for ‘one off’ favours and then complain about them when you leave. You wouldn’t do that to Kmart or McDonalds, so why do it to the backbone of this country….. the hard workers, the stress carriers that each day they continue to work their business praying today will be a good day. Have a read anyhow…. Only takes a minute and will help the public the actual support needed.

This is incredibly true and what happens when wages go up? The Super businesses need to pay goes up, the prices of our products need to go up… so who in fact pays- you do when you go to buy any product from anywhere, online or in person. Think about that - the very people that they say need help end up having to pay more for their goods. So its a circle of failure. The marketing of it is brilliant and makes the government look good!
