Proprietor Kim Malouf has assembled a young and talented team of individuals to make this happen. Chef Dylan Brace leads the kitchen alongside Sous-chef, Kimba Kuhlmann. Kane Blaber has also just recently handed over the Synesso to Luke Shilling as head barista. Salvaging a derelict turn-of-the-century cottage The Corner Store Cafe celebrates the historical use of the original building and delivers a unique stand-alone setting for the cafe. The newly constructed patio seating overlooks the organic herb and vegetable garden that provides freshest possible ingredients for the kitchen’s use. The cafe is located at 113 Sylvan Rd, (on the corner of Quinn St) and is adjacent to the Toowong tennis courts. Good parking is available in the surrounding streets. The cafe is open 7 days from 7am and accepts bookings for tables of 5 or more.

Consider this your sign to add a muffin to your coffee order.

Big, fluffy, loaded and definitely not the kind of muffin you politely take one bite of.

Our muffin flavours are always changing, so have a peek at the cabinet when you’re in.
You never know what’s waiting.

Coffee + muffin… name a better duo.
