Loking for an experienced and skilled barista to join our team at Mad Mile Café in Wynnum.

What we're looking for:
✔ Strong espresso and milk texturing skills
✔ Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
✔ Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service
✔ Reliable and able to work independently
✔ Weekend availability is essential

Position details:
📍 Wynnum, Brisbane Bayside
☕ 3–5 shifts per week
🗓 Includes weekend shifts
🏡 Preference given to applicants who live locally

We're a busy, community-focused café with a great team and loyal customers. If you take pride in making excellent coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Due to ongoing increases in the cost of green coffee, roasting, packaging, and freight, we have made a small adjustment to the price of our retail coffee beans.

We’ve kept this increase as modest as possible while continuing to source and roast the quality coffee you’ve come to expect from us.

CHEF (Casual) – 3–4 Shifts / Week

We’re a quality-focused breakfast café operating 6am–1pm.

We’re looking for a reliable, organized chef to run weekday service independently and work in a team of two on weekends.

The role includes:
• Breakfast service (eggs, toasties, prep-to-order items)
• Daily prep of house-made sandwiches, toasties, muffins, cookies & baked goods
• Maintaining a clean, structured kitchen
• Ordering awareness & basic stock control

You will:
• Open the kitchen confidently at 6am
• Work efficiently solo on weekdays
• Stay calm and consistent during rush periods
• Care about presentation and systems
• Have solid breakfast experience

This is a casual position (3–4 shifts per week), ideal for someone who values early finishes and structured service.
