Here it comes, me talking to our lovely customers about my favourite coffee drink Long Black( mine is small 6oz cup of single shot espresso over 62C hot water, it can be Single O, it can be blend..) ... you might like it differently, and that is completely fine, just let us know while ordering how do you like it.. here is a bit about temperature first, we have a lot more to say about LB.. ☕️

Barista Wanted — Specialty Cafe, Wynnum

We're a quality-focused specialty coffee cafe in Wynnum running Ona Coffee, open 7 days, 5:45am–1pm. We're looking for an experienced barista who takes real pride in the craft.

The role

Starting at ~25 hours/week (4 days, including one weekend day), moving to full-time from October for the right candidate
Early starts — you'll need to be comfortable opening (and closing) on your own
Confident operating as a solo Barista, staying calm and consistent under pressure

What you'll need

Solid latte art and dialing-in skills — we care about consistency, not just showmanship
Experience opening and closing a cafe unassisted
A calm, organised approach during the morning rush
Genuine interest in specialty coffee (Ona experience a bonus, not essential) . We can of course work with you on all of the above if right attitude and genuine interest, motivation and pro active approach is there.
