Unfortunately, due to our inability to secure an ongoing lease on the building, Lido Italia will close permanently on Saturday 13th June.
On behalf of Amedeo, Tim and the entire Lido Team we would like to thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement over the past 16 years.
It has been an honour and privilege to share your weddings, your anniversaries, your birthdays, your wonderful family and friend gatherings and an odd authentic Italian pizza or two on a Friday night.
We understand a lot of you will be sad and disappointed at the news … we were completely gutted! But, as someone once said … ”Life is what happens to you when you are desperately trying to do something else” ! It is what it is and now, my friends, it is time to move on.
Thank you for your friendship and magical memories … we will always cherish both and will sincerely miss each one of you.
We are indeed very fortunate to live in a close and supportive community … Take care of each other and more importantly take care of yourselves.

POST UPDATE:
We felt the need to clarify; we have been unable to secure an ongoing lease because the building has been sold and the incoming owner is wanting to occupy the premises for their own use.
We cannot speak more highly of the current owner … we have enjoyed a wonderful 16 year partnership with him. He has always gone above and beyond and has been completely central to our wonderfully successful 16 years.
He has stood side by side with us through the good times and the very difficult covid years. He is also very upset that it has left us in this predicament but we completely and unreservedly accept that his priority should always be to secure his and his family’s financial future.
