Bridging the gap between the classroom and the coffee industry!
Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the Business Educators Association of Queensland (BEAQ) to The Coffee Commune for an immersive Coffee as a Business experience.
The day included:
✨ A presentation on the business of coffee and the café industry
🏭 A behind-the-scenes roastery tour
👃 A professional coffee cupping session, exploring quality, flavour and sourcing
Our goal was to give educators real-world insights into one of Australia’s most dynamic industries, so they can take practical knowledge, current trends and authentic business examples back to their classrooms and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, hospitality professionals and business leaders.
A huge thank you to everyone from BEAQ for your enthusiasm, great questions and willingness to experience every part of the coffee journey!
