Last Tuesday, both of our social clubs visited The Ballpark at Portside. Our teens enjoyed playing digital darts, while our adults (who had a little more time) explored darts and the batting cages.
The adults also had a chance to enjoy some yummy food, delivered by neighbouring eatery, Dumbo. We will be back! šŸŽÆāš¾ļø

Every alternate week, our clubs visit a local eatery, where we order snacks or dinner, share news, have meaningful discussions and sometimes, even help each other problem solve things that may pop up.

We also love to connect together over a range of fun shared games, which not only provides us with plenty of laughs, but also the chance for further discussion. We also learn fun facts about each other, and random things, along the way!

The ASC Social Clubs are all about bringing people together, to build connections through shared interests, fun activities, conversations and acceptance, while being part of our safe and supported community.

The value of our clubs, and the connections created, was reinforced this week when one of our participants couldnā€™t be there in person, so asked to FaceTime in so that they could still engage, and even play a game with their friends, from afar.

Such a special reminder of how important the power of connection and community really are. šŸ–¤šŸ¤
