What is it about cupcakes I love so much?

Maybe it's that they're the perfect little celebration that you don't have to share with anyone (If you don't want to!)

I love that they are small enough that you don't need a reason to enjoy one.

They are the perfect little treat to enjoy a quiet moment in the day with a cuppa.

Mostly, I love them because they are absolutely delicious! All my cuppies are handmade, from scratch, no packet mixes here!

And I simply love making and decorating them!

Over the years I've made hundreds (probably thousands!) of cupcakes, and I still get excited seeing a box full of my signature decorated cupcakes ready to head out the door.

They've been a special part of birthdays, baby showers, weddings, thank you gifts, school celebrations and "just because" moments.

And while I love creating big cakes, there will always be something special about cupcakes.

It didn't always look like this.....

When I started this business, I was never going to offer cakes.

Too hard, too stressful and I just really wasn't very good at decorating them.

But then something in me shifted. And I decided I would learn how.

I spent hours watching tutorials, and practicing over and over, making cakes for friends and family.

What I realised is, it's actually not as hard as it first seemed. With the right equipment, patience and following the same process over and over, I actually have gotten pretty good at it.

But the most satisfying thing? Nailing a customers vision. The joy and excitement on their face when they see their cake for the first time. It's why I love what I do. It's not just cake it's a memory, something you will always remember from your special celebration. I love being able to create those moments for my customers!

Wow you guys are keeping me soooo busy!!

It's been a crazy few weeks, but I have LOVED every minute of creating these cupcakes and cakes for your special occasions.

I've had everything from fairy birthday cakes, to celebration cuppies, from a first birthday F1 cake, to an 80th and even a very special wedding cake.

This is why I love what I do!! From one week to the next is never the same.

My cupcakes and cakes are handmade from scratch. In fact everything from macarons to salted caramel and lemon curd are all made by me. From scratch with real ingredients. You can literally taste the T.L.C in every bite!

There is a reason my customers come back year after year.

Well, this has come as a HUGE surprise!!!

Guys, I have been nominated for Cupcake Artist of the Year for the 2026 ACADA Cake Oscar Awards.

This is a huge deal, and never in my wildest dreams did I EVER think I would be nominated. So the person or people who have nominated me, a very heartfelt thank you, it is such an honour!

Who's joining me for my next Cupcake Decorating Class?

When: Sunday 14th June at 10:30am
Where: Middle Park Brisbane
Who: Perfect for beginners, even if you've never held a piping bag before
How long: Approx 2.5 - 3 hours
What to bring: Just yourselves! Everything is provided from aprons to cupcakes, refreshments and snacks
