A handful of coffees come out of Moki Gotiti, an estate in Gedeb, Ethiopia. This Grade 1 natural lot is the standout among them.

Guava, blueberry and blackberry jam sit alongside big floral fruit character. Easy to enjoy and beautifully balanced, the kind of profile that keeps bringing us back to this region season after season.

Once a coffee arrives, we sample roast it once again, and cup it. This confirms we received the lot we selected pre-shipment, sharpens our read on how it will profile, and locks in the tasting notes we’ll share with you.

Halo Beriti, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia.

We don’t often buy the same coffee twice. This is one of the few that earned a second purchase.

Grown at exceptional altitude in the rich soils of Yirgacheffe, Halo Beriti offers delicate tea-like florals, refined fruit sweetness and remarkable clarity in the cup. Elegant and expressive, it performs beautifully as both filter and espresso.

A coffee we’re genuinely pleased to have back.
