Barista – Casual | Savour Café, New Farm
Savour Café is looking for an experienced barista.
The role
Casual, around 35–38 hours per week
Rostered shifts that include weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Early starts, with some shifts beginning as early as 5:30am (6am on Sundays).
What you'll do
Make consistently excellent espresso-based drinks and batch brew, with good milk texture and presentation
Greet and look after customers with a warm, genuine approach
Work across the floor as needed: taking orders, running food, and supporting the team through busy periods
Help with opening and closing duties, including setting up and packing away the café and outdoor furniture
Keep the machine, grinder and bar clean, stocked and well maintained
About you
Previous barista experience in a busy café (at least 2 years preferred)
Reliable, punctual and happy to work early starts and weekends
Available to work over the Christmas period
Calm under pressure, with good attention to detail
Friendly, team-minded and keen to learn
Legal right to work in Australia
