It was my 12th birthday yesterday and I got to celebrate it with my Oma who also had a birthday. Two cakes! Mine was vanilla cake with lemon curd, which my mum made and cream cheese frosting and Oma had vanilla cake with coffee (mocha) buttercream. Her favourite dutch cake. I am 12 yay.

It was a sell out for all the cookies. Thank you to Taste the Bay for having me. It was a great opportunity to learn about markets and the best experience. I definitely want to do it again. Thank you to Candice from Annie Lane for recommending me. It was the best. Thank you to all who were so encouraging and believing in me. I had fun. Thank you Emily and Nicola for look on after me

THE BAY’S FUTURE LOOKS PRETTY SWEET 🍪

Big ideas don’t come with an age limit - and Tyra's Treats is proof! Young Bribie Island maker Tyra will be joining us at Taste the Bay - North Lakes, fresh from receiving the Premier’s Young Achiever Award at the 2026 Pumicestone Business Excellence Awards. 🏆

Come along and say hello, hear her story and introduce your own youngest baking buddies - she might just inspire them to dream up something of their own!

With live entertainment, free kids’ activities, local makers and plenty to explore, Taste the Bay is a day out for every generation.
