Braidwood Hotel The Braidwood Hotel built in 1859 is the finest example of an original Georgian style hotel in Australia.

High ceilings and fireplaces create a comforting atmosphere. The Hotel has welcomed locals and travellers alike for 165 years. The Braidwood Hotel (formerly known as the Commercial Hotel), is a classic Georgian style hotel built in 1859. Events at the Hotel have featured in the first NSW Royal Commission into police corruption, it has featured in the movie 'The Year My Voice Broke' and Mick Jagger

was known to play the piano here while he was filming 'Ned Kelly'. The Hotel has been undergoing a long and loving restoration previously by the Mitchell family, and being continued by the current owners. Do keep checking in as we provide updates on our latest updates and renovation activities as we work to restore the Hotel to its former glory!

Sending out a huge thank you to Luke and the team at TCF - for there generous donation to Jerabat Springs Animal Refuge . They run a meat raffle at the Braidwood Hotel every Friday night to raise money for the work they do in the community, and last week donated the funds to the refuge. With their donation and each week donating $50 to the refuge over the past year, they have helped raise just under $4000. This continued support is invaluable to the refuge!
