As promised, Chef Kei and I would like to introduce to you our newest addition, our Flying Swallow baby, Jack Lai. Born at 39 weeks on Monday 25th October 2021, weighing 2.99kg. 💙

Both mum and bub are doing well while Chef is recovering from looking after the older brothers, Jeremy and Javis! 😆😆

We miss the community dearly but also excited to start this new crazy journey of being parents to 3 cheeky monkeys 🙈🙉🙊

Flashback to our humble beginning....

3 years ago today we opened our doors for the first time. We did not know what to expect but we certainly gained a lot more out of it than we ever imagined!

Thank you to our locals for checking in on us making sure we are safe and letting us know they haven't forgotten us just yet! 🤭

While we miss you all, our boys have been loving their Chef dad at home cooking different meals everyday! 😊

Best of all, is that for the FIRST time in forever... they will actually see their dad for Father's Day! 🥰 Previously unheard of in the chef world!

We hope everyone is staying safe and being kind to each other during this extended lockdown. Xx

The empty Flying Swallow.

Exactly 3 years to the day we got handed our keys to our first ever cafe venture. It was a good ride filled with many obstacles and happy memories.

We want thank everyone that came on the journey with us!

Today, 3 year later... we hand our keys over to Rob and Nadia to continue their dream and expand on their small business. Check them out if you haven't already!

BIG thank you to Adam for coming to the rescue after some hiccups we have had whilst trying to clear out the premises during these lockdown restrictions.

When the sun went down yesterday, so did our sign at the cafe...

Today we got to sleep in and the boys were surprised to see both mum and dad at home on a SUNDAY! 🤭

We all got some adjusting to do but we will be enjoying this new phase. We hope you are too! 😊

Thank you to all our customers who came to grab their coffee and food today! It was definitely lovely to see everyone in such a crazy covid way to say farewell with no hugs, hand shakes and only smiles (sometimes sad faces) behind our masks.

Thank you for all your best wishes, we will be keeping our socials up so that we can keep in touch and let you know once our little bundle has arrived.

Stay safe, be well and we are blessed that we have been a part of your life story by caffinating you, keeping you sane from those crazy long days and filling your bellies up with delicious food!

It's our last weekend at Flying Swallow and while the boys cannot come down to the cafe due to the lockdown, Javis wanted to say goodbye to everyone! 👋🏻👋🏻😊

I still remember when he was still in his pram coming down during the early days and hanging out in the kids play area while mummy was serving and daddy was cooking... going for bush walks and playing at the park when we came see daddy during the week.
