Congratulations to this year’s Club Mandalay Volunteer Award recipients, Kylie Ashton and Ava Mavrogiannis.
Recently, Kylie and Ava were recognised at Club Mandalay for their outstanding contributions to the community, receiving the Volunteer of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year awards.
Kylie was recognised for her ongoing support of the Beveridge community through her involvement with the Beveridge Primary School Parents and Friends Association, along with her volunteer work supporting organisations including the Good Friday Appeal, Red Nose and Sands.
Ava was recognised for her dedication to creating handmade crochet toys for children in hospital, volunteering with the Salvation Army and supporting a range of community initiatives. Her kindness, resilience and commitment to helping others is truly inspiring.
The awards were presented by Members Committee Chair Hannah White, with family and friends in attendance. Following the presentation, the recipients joined members of the Committee for dinner at Kelly’s Restaurant to celebrate the occasion.
