Tilly’s Cafe has once again been abused by careless, self-entitled people!!

On Tuesday evening around 7:30pm, this self-entitled man allegedly decided he could enter property that clearly isn’t his and take the staff’s hard-earned tips (cash tin).

I really hope you needed this, because clearly the staff don’t—or at least you thought so!

And to take a filthy bucket that had coffee grinds in it to hide what you allegedly took? Suits your personality.

Spend wisely, you prick—and enjoy your Christmas. 🙏🏼

Footage, along with additional footage from other businesses, has been submitted to the police.

Karma will have his day!!

A big thank you to the Casey Crime Unit for turning up and assisting.

And a huge thank you to all the customers who have been giving back to the staff. Your generosity never goes unnoticed 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

UPDATE!!! 7/6 /25 @ 9:30pm

I was contacted this evening by the person who took the stools and (they) have since returned them - i agreed to remove the post once i had seen them and was satisfied they were in the same condition before they were taken.

For now i will remove the photos!!

We want to personally thank everyone - this being our staff, loyal customers, the community, people we dont even know and the local businesses in Berwick and Pakenham that reached out.

Sometimes it can just be the smallest thing that gets taken but these people have absolutely no idea what impact it can take on a person or a business - this can be the final straw to any trigger

So again thank you to everyone who shared and reached out

Thank you to the person(s) for having a conscience or for whoever lead them to returning them.

We dont know their story but can only hope they want to change it for the better.

On behalf of all staff at Tilly’s Cafe we extend our sincerest gratitude to the police, ambulance services, and the community members who came together to assist during today’s incident within the centre.
We appreciate the dedicated staff and other members of the center who helped with the cleanup afterwards.

We are relieved that our staff are safe and back with their families. Our hearts go out to those who were injured in today's incident and wish for a speedy recovery.

Thank you all for your support and assistance.

We encourage everyone to reach out to their loved ones for support during this challenging time. It's important to lean on each other and offer help where needed as we navigate through the aftermath of the incident.

Please note, we will be CLOSED tomorrow (Monday 12/08). We will endeavour to be open as soon as possible, apologies for any inconveniences.
