Dear Valued Customers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our beloved catering business after 30+ wonderful years of serving our community. This decision comes following the sudden passing of Kerry, who was the driving force behind our success and the heart and soul of our establishment.

We cannot express enough gratitude for the immense effort, passion, and talent that each and every one of our employees has brought to our business. It is because of your unwavering commitment and dedication that we have been able to create countless memories.

Your unwavering loyalty and support have been instrumental in our success, and for that, we are eternally grateful. It is because of you that our catering business has thrived for 30+ years leaving an indelible mark on the local community and the hearts of all those we have had the pleasure of serving.

As we embark on this bittersweet journey of closing our doors, we want to take a moment to reflect on the countless milestones we achieved together, the joyous celebrations we contributed to, and the smiles we brought to the faces of our customers. It is these memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts.

To our customers, thank you. Your unwavering support and loyalty have been the bedrock of our success, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to have served you.

While this chapter may be closing, we take solace in knowing that the memories we have created, the friendships we have formed, and the bonds we have forged will forever remain. It is these intangible legacies that will carry on, reminding us of the incredible journey we embarked upon together.

IMMEDIATE START

We as a business are so very lucky to have such amazing staff, to help service our even more amazing customers. This last 11 weeks has been the longest we have worked in nearly 2 years and we have had new staff join the team and long time customers wanting us to provide food for their staff and functions. We nearly got through the term seamlessly, without any hiccups and everyone was happy to be at work and doing what we love. This last week has put our team to the test, Covid and colds hit and even a valued staff member rushed to hospital for appendicitis. For a few minutes there I thought the wheels might have fallen off BUT, my amazing team all rallied and excelled themselves going above and beyond what any employer could hope for. Everyone old and new pulled together and got on with the job and nothing was too much trouble. I am very grateful that I have the team I do and I hope they all enjoy some valued down time in the next 2 weeks before we gear up for another term. To those that are still not well I wish them all a speedy recovery. To our valued customers, thank you for your continued patronage and we look forward to providing many more meals to feed hungry people.

We have a variety of positions available across our family-owned business. We operate school canteens, and our hours are very family friendly with No weekends, School Holidays or Public Holidays and hours vary from 8am -10 am start times to 2pm – 3pm finish times.

We have 5-6 positions available depending on applicants needs and availability.

Our sites are all located within the Lynbrook to Hampton Park, Cranbourne North, Berwick and Pakenham areas.

Ideally candidates will be looking for 8-25 hours per week, all hours are paid at casual rates of approx. $25 per hour
Candidates will need to be fully vaccinated, have or be able to obtain a Working with Children’s check, and have or obtain a Food Handling Certificate Level 1.

Candidates must be team players, whilst being able to manage tight deadlines and work in fast paced environment, have great money handling skills, be able to add without the use of cash registers or calculators, have great customer service skills, be well presented, and be prepared to work at any site, with own transport a must. A strong sense of pride and ownership in our work sites is a must, along with a great level cleanliness. Cleaning is a requisite of these positions.
There will be times when flexibility is required and candidates who can demonstrate this will be highly valued.

In return you will receive regular and consistent hours, work with some great people and be able to fit in work around your family life and be a valued and appreciated member of our team. Ideally candidates will have a support network if they have children, so time off for children and illness is minimised across the business.

We are looking for staff that want to join our team for many years to come, previous experience in hospitality will be well regarded but we are happy to train the right people. We are looking for vibrant and motivated people that take initiative and work towards common goals of providing great and efficient service to our customers.

Communication is a key requirement with all levels of our organisation.

We are looking for people for immediate start availability. A 3 month trial period will apply for both parties.

Well that’s another year done! Another tough year but with the help of my amazing staff we got through it all. Finished with providing a BBQ for my favourite customers at Strathaird Primary School. Nothing like finishing up with great people. We love feeding them all.

To my staff, thank you all just for being yourselves and always having my back. Here’s to a great 2022! I PROMISE 🤪.
