The Garden is a social dining venue set in the heart of Berry and is the meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Comfortable indoor seating at the front leads through to a leafy, all-weather outdoor dining area at the back. Outdoor lounges provide the perfect setting for relaxed drinks with friends, so soak up the sun and take your time! Fully licensed, we offer a range of wines, craft beers, spirits and cocktails.

A little reminder that today was our final day as custodians of The Garden Berry.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 10th June, the café will be closed while all the paperwork is finalised and the handover takes place. The Garden Berry will then reopen on Thursday under its new owners, ready to begin the next chapter.

We'd also like to say a heartfelt thank you for the incredible outpouring of kind words and well wishes following last week's announcement. We are so grateful for the community that has surrounded us over the past 10 years. We know you'll make the new owners feel just as welcome and supported.

For all of our wonderful regulars, you'll be pleased to know that the team you know and love will be staying on, with no changes planned. It will very much be business as usual when the doors reopen on Thursday.

A breakfast classic for good reason. Our Eggs Benedict features 63° poached eggs from Kangaroo Valley Pastured Eggs, locally smoked Mountain Side Meats Berry leg ham, wilted spinach, house-made hollandaise and a toasted English muffin. Rich, satisfying and made with quality local ingredients.

We’re open 8am - 3pm today (Sunday) and 9am - 3pm on the public holiday Monday tomorrow. Our Eggs Benedict is available on our breakfast menu until 11:30am daily.

The June long weekend has arrived, bringing with it crisp winter mornings, sunshine-filled days and the chance to slow down and unwind in beautiful Berry.

Whether you're joining us for breakfast, a leisurely lunch or simply a coffee in the sun, we'd love to see you over the weekend.

Open 8am – 3pm Saturday and Sunday, and 9am - 3pm on the public holiday Monday.

Berry Markets returns this Sunday 7th June from 8am – 2pm, filling the Showground with more than 200 local producers, makers, growers and artisans.

Landing in the middle of the June long weekend, it's the perfect excuse to visit Berry. Take your time exploring the markets, wandering the village's boutiques and specialty stores, and enjoying the great energy that a market day brings to town. Best yet, with the public holiday still to come on Monday, there's no need to rush.

Join us for breakfast before you head to the markets, or settle in for lunch afterwards in our all-weather courtyard.

We're open 8am – 3pm every day except for the public holiday Monday, where we’ll have a slightly later start and will be open 9am - 3pm.

The 1st of June marked 10 wonderful years at the helm of The Garden Berry and the time has come for us to hand over the reins.

On the 10th of June, we will officially be passing The Garden Berry on to new owners. This news will no doubt come as a surprise to many of our wonderful customers, locals, visitors, suppliers and friends who have been part of our journey over the years.

What started as a business quickly became so much more – a community, a gathering place and a huge part of our lives. We are incredibly proud of what The Garden Berry has become and deeply grateful for the support, loyalty and friendships we’ve shared along the way.

For us, the decision comes down to family and making the time to focus on the next chapter of our lives. We’ll still be staying local and very much part of the Berry community we love so much.

We are very pleased to be able to share that they are keeping on the entire team, local suppliers and even the local art exhibitions - so your customer experience will remain unchanged.

Over the coming week or so, we’ll be focused on ensuring a smooth transition and tying up loose ends behind the scenes.

If you currently hold a gift voucher, we’d really appreciate you using it by close of business on Tuesday 9th June if you can. All vouchers will continue to be honoured, however redeeming them before this date will help us greatly as we finalise everything.

From the bottom of our hearts – thank you. Every coffee, every lunch, every celebration, every kind word and every moment shared with us over the past decade has truly meant the world.

Today we celebrate the return of Helen Pain Art to The Garden Berry, with the opening of her beautiful new exhibition, 'Impressions – Encounters with Nature'.

This vibrant collection of landscapes, seascapes and floral studies captures Helen’s deep fascination with the beauty, colour and ever-changing light of the natural world. Rich in texture and full of expression, each work invites viewers to pause, reflect and connect with nature in a deeply personal way.

Helen paints intuitively from memory, creating works that capture the essence and feeling of a place rather than simply reproducing it – resulting in a collection that feels both joyful and evocative.

Now on display in our dining spaces until Wednesday 24th June, with all works available for purchase.

Join us from 8am to 3pm daily to dine, unwind and experience the exhibition.

Rainy weather calls for a touch of indulgence, and our Orange & Almond Cake is just the thing. Baked fresh in-house, this rich and moist cake is topped with a dark chocolate dipped dehydrated orange wheel, making it the perfect sweet treat for a grey day in Berry.
