Happy 91st Birthday, Dorothy! 🎉🎂

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting the Legacy Ladies and Legatees for their monthly morning tea, with an extra special celebration for Dorothy’s 91st birthday!

Everyone enjoyed hot coffees, homemade cheesecakes, fresh jam and cream scones, lamingtons and of course some birthday cake 🍰

We’re on the lookout for someone to join our small, friendly team at our busy coffee shop in Berri.

The role includes:
• Preparing hot and salad rolls, sandwiches, wraps & basic food items
• Making and serving coffees
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Serving customers
• Cash handling
• General cleaning to maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace

About you:
• Friendly, reliable & motivated
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Able to work well as part of a small team
• Hospitality or café experience is preferred

Availability during our Monday–Friday opening hours is required, with shifts varying.

A very busy couple of weeks catering for a variety of local businesses! 🥪

From sandwich and wrap platters to fresh fruit, homemade cakes and slices, hot food and salad platters, we’ve certainly been keeping busy.

We had a very special morning tea here earlier this week. 💜 With fairy bread, homemade pink marshmallow slice, warm sausage rolls and some adorable furry friends, it was a wonderful morning filled with smiles and laughter.

Happy Birthday, John! 🎉

Today we celebrate a very special member of the Berri Patisserie family.

John is often working behind the scenes. From helping Mary with the bookwork, collecting our fresh bread each morning, delivering catering orders, heading off on shopping trips with a list from us and tackling countless handyman jobs around the shop with his trusty toolbox, there’s rarely a day when he isn’t lending a hand.

Many of our customers will also know John as the maker of our very popular vanilla slices. A regular favourite in the shop that normally doesn’t last long!

He’s also known for his love of storytelling, a good chat and making customers feel welcome whenever they walk through the door. His friendly nature and willingness to help are appreciated. And wherever John goes, his loyal mate Kiah is usually right there with him. 🐾

Happy 100th Birthday, June! 🎉

What a wonderful morning we had yesterday celebrating an incredible milestone.

The Legacy ladies and legatees enjoyed their monthly morning tea while celebrating June’s remarkable achievement. A homemade birthday cake, delicious scones, slices, coffee and plenty of wonderful conversation made for a very special occasion.

Reaching 100 years of age is truly something special and it was an honour to share in this milestone with June.
