We are most famous for our cakes and cupcakes with many flavour options available and designs and colours chosen by YOU! We do not use fondant to cover cakes, only the creamiest and most delicious buttercream in Cairns. Designer cookies are also available.

Morning!!! Must be Sunday because I have spare cake ready to go!

This week I made each one reflect the whimsy and fun of the outdoors. The sun is trying harder to shine, it's warming up as we head deeper into the year and Spring has well and truly sprung!!

RUOk?

This one has always been an issue close to my heart and previous years have seen me invent little hugs in cupcake form and fully embrace the larger scale events in cupcakes with logo toppers as well.

This year I'm trying something new.

RUOk Day is not really about asking that exact question. Nobody ever answers it honestly because frankly we all believe nobody has time or energy to listen to us explain ourselves if the answer is no and it's also fact that for many people, we don't know we are not ok until we are very absolutely without question, not ok.

I hate the idea of this day becoming a social media opportunity to snap a pic of a cupcake and claim that the office is doing it's best and believes in the need for better mental health and wants to be part of the solution.

I call bu****it.

So here's my thoughts.....

RUOk Day is about starting a conversation. That's it. The conversation can be as simple as 'what did you do last weekend?' and turn into not a whole lot more than that.

That's enough to make a person feel connected and that's been proven to do more good than a thousand cupcakes ever will.

So instead of offering cupcakes that will go on a table in a room and people will walk by and grab one through the day without actively talking to anyone, I've gone with a whole arse cake. Two sizes. Because you cut a cake and eat said cake all at the same time, with everyone in the room which means the chance of starting those conversations is much much higher and yes I'm a Pollyanna who wears rose coloured glasses but so be it! It's a risk I'm willing to take.

The small one feeds up to 6 and is $45 and the large one feeds up to 20 and is $70. To get one, send a message to the page and I'll add you to the list. Can be collected Wednesday 9th September between 3-6pm or Thursday between 9-12. These come in vanilla only.

Because dad's deserve flowers too....

This year, I wanted to do something different for Father's Day. Part of the reason is because I truly do think that we sometimes overlook the awesomeness that is a great dad and partly because I genuinely believe that men love flowers too and given the chance, they would love to receive them just as much as women do!

The flavours had to be just as fabulous as the flowers so these bunches of blooms will feature three positively sinful flavours. Sticky date with butterscotch sauce, chocolate fudge delight, banoffee pie. Oh. My. Goodness!!

Each bunch is $45 and they are only available via PM so send a message asap to get your hands on one this Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, all boxed and ready for the dad in your life.

Orders close this Thursday at midday. Let us know whether you will be collecting Saturday between 2-6 or Sunday from 9-12 when you place your order.

(No substitutions in flavour, colours or flowers but you can choose different words if needed)
