WE’RE HIRING - DELIVERER OF HAPPINESS ☕🚐
We’re looking for another great human to join the crew at Barth Lane Coffee Roasters in Bendigo.
This is a hands-on, varied role working directly alongside our owners and wholesale customers - delivering coffee, looking after customers, helping in the warehouse and getting involved in the day-to-day life of a busy coffee roastery.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you already know your way around the coffee industry.
Maybe you’ve worked for another coffee roaster and are looking for your next opportunity - we’d love to hear from you.
Or maybe you’re an experienced barista who loves coffee but wants to get off the café floor and learn more about the industry - roasting, wholesale, equipment, customer relationships and everything that happens behind the scenes.
Coffee industry experience is strongly preferred, but above everything else, we want someone who is:
☕ Genuinely passionate about coffee
🤝 Brilliant with customers and people
🚐 Reliable, organised and comfortable making deliveries (and driving a van!)
📦 Happy to get stuck into warehouse and roastery work
🧠 Keen to learn and expand their coffee knowledge
👊 Someone who takes ownership and gets things done
THE GIG
Minimum 3 days per week, with the opportunity for full-time
⏰ 7am–3pm, Monday–Friday
🙌 No nights. No weekends.
💰 Above Award rates / salary depending on experience
☕ Learn roasting, equipment and the wholesale side of coffee
🤝 Build relationships with some of our awesome wholesale customers
👊 Work directly alongside the owners
🚀 Opportunity to grow with a growing independent coffee roastery
☕ And yes… an arguably irresponsible amount of free coffee
