Production Chef / Catering Prep Cook

Crooked Kitchen is looking for an experienced chef or cook to join our growing catering and production team in Bendigo.

This is a daytime-only hospitality role focused on:

- batch cooking
- catering production
- finger food and pastry preparation
- production support for our café, catering and Crooked@Home meals

Position Details
- Casual position for initial 3 month trial period
Tuesday to Saturday
Approx. 4 hours per day to start w/ more available for right applicant
No nights
Opportunity for permanent part-time ongoing
Additional hours available during busy periods and staff leave coverage

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has commercial kitchen experience
Works cleanly and efficiently
Is organised and reliable
Enjoys prep and production-style kitchen work
Can consistently follow recipes and systems

Award rates apply during trial period.

You’ll notice it most in the details.
Salads have been refreshed, bowls feel a bit more substantial, and plates are built to carry a bit more weight.

Build a Brekky and Nourish Bowls are still the essentials of the menu, just updated to suit the season.

A few changes are coming to the Kitchenette.

Nothing drastic - just a better way of doing what we already do.

We’ve been working behind the scenes to refine our meals to be:
✔ higher in protein
✔ more nutritionally balanced
✔ better suited to everyday eating

Same food. Same flavours. Just a smarter approach.

That means you’ll start to notice:
• more balanced portions
• a stronger focus on protein
• lighter, more consistent meals across the range

It’s all about making our meals work better for your day - whether that’s lunch at work, something quick between jobs, or an easy dinner at home.
