DELIVERY NEWS!

As some of you have already heard through the grapevine (or from a mate who knows a mate), we are jumping on the UBER bandwagon, it took a lot of arm twisting from the well known company, but the ol boy finally said…

Ok!!! In his deep monotonic droaning voice.

After a few technical hiccups, a lot of head scratching, to and fro to the uber technical support team, it looks like we’ve solved some issues.

A few things need to be known before someone loses it and throws pineapple at wall…

Deliveries are via Uber Eats only, we’re not taking phone orders for delivery. Uber is providing the delivery service, we’re just providing the pizza.

That means…

Very little control over delivery times or drivers (please direct angry rants about cold chips to the Uber app 😅)

No “half ‘n’ half” options yet, and a few other modifications , they will come, our menu has lots of customisations for pizzas and transferring this to an app is quite tedious.

We’ve been given a temporary commission discount, so for now we’ve tried to keep prices as close to in-store as possible. But Uber usually takes a large % of the total order, a google search will give you the details, so if we stay on, prices will likely have to rise.

Best value? Still through good ol’ pick-up or phone orders. But if you’re couchbound, netflix and chilling or just a lazy night in…

Uber’s got you covered, hopefully.

You'd be crazy not to be in business. Always something to keep you on your toes.

We changed our number some time ago to 0468965448 as the regular number 57626277 occasionally had issues. However we do still have access to this number and is in credit!!

Although tonight commander, the phone number provider, for some reason diverted it to the old boys personal mobile and appeared that we were closed 😔

Yes we are open.

Please update to the mobile number if you hadn't already done so. Seems to be less issues with it.

Hope you all had a great break and managed to acquire some quality time with family and friends.

Business is business, with the ebbs and flows continuing to make some unneeded waves.

We are open tonight in this glorious heat we call summer, however, we have just opened a box of our shredded ham and it will need to be returned. The bags within were not sealed correctly at the factory. Which means less stock for tonight.

Yes! The boss man should've ordered more stock, however this time of year he likes to keep stock at a minimum just in case of breakdowns (previous years experience) and this week has been much busier.

Long story short, get in early 😅. We may close a little earlier.

We also have no Texan Pizzas or Mixed Grill Pizzas available tonight.

I know this is going to upset a few people, but due to illness, Hollywoods is unable to open tonight.

It seems coincidental being mid Christmas and New Years, however I assure you, the boss would rather be opening.

He would usually run short staffed to try and cater, but he and another key employee are the sick ones.

Can you please share this around so anyone expecting to order tonight can plan.

We have changed our phone systems around a little and have added a new primary number, to see what difference this makes.

We finally got the very go lucky, happy boss 😅 to update the website after it was taken down from a crash.
