When we took over this café, we knew we weren’t just buying a business.
We were stepping into a place that had already been part of the community for more than a decade — with loyal regulars, familiar faces, stories, memories, and a strong sense of connection.
That was exactly what we loved about it.
We saw the opportunity to build something bigger: a great local café first, with good coffee, good food and good service — but also a place with purpose.
Over time, we want Fourhearts Cafe to create real opportunities for people with disability to build skills, confidence, workplace experience and pathways into work.
We know we are still in the building stage. We are improving the team, the coffee, the food, the service and the space step by step.
We are not trying to rush something that has taken years to build.
This café has already been here for more than a decade, and our goal is to build it so it can be here for many more.
