📣2026 DIVISION 1 JUNIOR PENNANT CHAMPIONS! 🏆⛳

A massive shout out to our Junior Pennant team, who came out victorious yesterday at Tin Can Bay, taking down Caloundra in the 2026 Division 1 Junior Pennant Final!

Playing Caloundra was always going to be a fun one, with plenty of familiar faces on both sides. But with Cooper Field, Ruby Kavanagh and Bailey Ellis all graduating from the junior ranks this year, the motivation was high, the focus was sharp, and the team was ready to go.

After a few inspiring words from captain Cooper, possibly motivational, possibly just “don’t lose” , the team hit the course.

Pictured left to right:

Bailey Ellis kept his undefeated run alive with a comfortable 3/2 win. Bailey said his putter and scrambling got him home — which is golfer code for “I missed it in the right spots and somehow made everything.”

Jensen Williamson was rock solid as always, never really letting his opponent into the match. With clutch putting and an impressive performance, Jensen powered his way to a strong 5/3 victory.

Charlie Simm was first out in the number 4 spot. After losing a few holes early, Charlie fought hard and made his opponent work all the way to the end before going down 3/2.

Cooper Field was his usual tough-to-beat self. After a tight start through 10 holes, Cooper knuckled down and finished strongly with a 4/3 win. He gave special credit to Ruby Kavanagh on the bag, saying her calm presence made all the difference, proof that sometimes the caddie is the real MVP.

A special mention to Ruby Kavanagh, who was the unlucky player to miss out on the final but showed true team spirit by caddying and supporting the team all day.

Dale Williamson - Super proud Team Manager.

Also not pictured are Alan Larard and Riley Arkle, who both contributed throughout the season and played their part in helping the team bring home the win. With continued practice and hard work, both should be very excited for next year.

Congratulations once again to the whole team — an outstanding effort and a fantastic result for Beerwah Golf Club. Well done team! ✨

Junior Division 1 Pennant Team Through to the Grand Final! ⛳🏆

A huge congratulations to our Junior Division 1 Pennant Team, who have battled their way through a fantastic season and booked their place in this weekend's Grand Final! 🙏

After finishing second on the ladder, the team now faces Caloundra at Tin Can Bay this Sunday, in a showdown to determine who will take home the coveted Junior Pennant Flag.

It's been a tremendous season filled with great matches, outstanding performances, and the emergence of some exciting young talent. Special congratulations go to Alan Larard, Charlie Simm, and Riley Arkle, who all recorded Division 1 victories throughout the season and played an important role in helping the team reach the big dance.

While we finished second on the ladder, we head into the final with a strong and confident lineup. With Cooper Field, Ruby Kavanagh, Jensen Williamson, and Bailey Ellis all available, Beerwah will be putting its best foot forward.

It's always dangerous to label a team as favourites, but when you have two Queensland State Representatives, the ever-reliable Jensen Williamson, and the season's undefeated star Bailey Ellis, it's hard not to like our chances!

Whatever happens, the team has already done the club proud with their dedication, sportsmanship, and outstanding golf throughout the season.

Best of luck to all players this weekend. Bring home the flag!

GO THE WAHS!
