We are very proud to have won this prestigious award ⛳️

🚨BEERWAH Golf Club has claimed a major Queensland golfing honour for the first time in 16 years, winning the Get Into Golf Venue of the Year Award for its successful women’s participation program.

The club was recognised at the Queensland Golf Industry Awards on October 8, celebrating the success of its Women’s Get Into Golf Pathway Program, which has attracted 187 participants since launching in August 2024.

Of those, 67 women have gone on to become club members, highlighting the program’s success in encouraging newcomers to take up the sport.

Women’s President and Get Into Golf Pathway Coordinator Kaye Hosking said the award was a proud moment for the club, particularly given the competition from larger Queensland venues.

“It’s very prestigious,” she said.

🌧️⛳ A little more water than we'd like on the fairways!

A big thanks to our Greens Superintendent, Steve, for sharing these photos showing just how much flooding the recent rain has caused across the course.

With more rain forecast, we're keeping our fingers crossed that the weather clears sooner rather than later! 🤞☀️

Stay dry, everyone! 💚⛳
