Today is a very emotional day for our family as we close a chapter of our lives that has meant far more to us than just owning a business.
When we took over the business in 2020, we could never have imagined the journey that was ahead of us, or the amount of love, support and care we would receive from this community.
Aruna and I, along with TJ and Monty, were new here. We didn’t know many people, but from the very beginning you welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we belonged. Somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like simply a place where we ran our business and started feeling like home.
Over the years, we have been lucky enough to meet so many wonderful people. Some of you came through our doors every week, some stopped in just to say hello, and some simply smiled or waved as you passed the restaurant each day. Those small moments became part of our everyday lives, and they are the things we will probably miss the most.
Today, with a heavy heart, we hand the business over and move on to the next chapter of our lives. It wasn’t an easy decision, but we feel the time has come to follow our plans and see where life takes us from here.
We could say “Thank you” a hundred times, and it still wouldn’t properly express what we feel. You didn’t just support our business; you supported us as a family, and for that we will always be grateful.
We also want to warmly welcome the new owners. They are genuinely lovely people, and we wish them every success as they begin their own journey here. We hope the business continues to grow and flourish, and we hope you show them the same warmth and support that you so generously gave us.
We may be moving on from the business, but we will never move on from the memories and friendships we made here.
From our family to yours, thank you for everything. This community will always be a part of us, wherever life takes us next. ❤️
