Have you had a tour of The River House BnB? Ask Maggie next time you’re at the cafe — it truly is something special to welcome people into this home.

Built in 1834 and meticulously renovated over three years, each of the four rooms tells its own story. The lighting, colour palette, and art selection give every space a completely unique energy.

Winter is actually the 𝓫𝓮𝓼𝓽 time to celebrate something. 🍁☕

There’s something really special about gathering the people you love in a warm, beautiful space when it’s cold outside - and our Pavilion is exactly that kind of place.

We’re now taking private bookings for the Pavilion this winter - whether you’re planning a baby shower, a milestone birthday, a wedding anniversary, or just a reason to get everyone together. Up to 60 guests, fully heated, with blankets, warm lighting, our beloved canaries, gorgeous plants, and a large open lounge area that looks out over the garden. It’s relaxed, it’s beautiful, and it feels like nowhere else in Bathurst.

The kind of event people actually remember. 🧡

☕🎶 Sunday Session at River Café – This Sunday 7th June

Settle in from 11am for a beautiful three-hour live music session with Karyn Catalano… filled with warm, feel-good vibes. We’ll coast on songs from the 1950s to today - the kind that feels like a relaxed Sunday drive through the decades. Velvet harmonies, soft grooves, mellow beats… all handpicked to keep things smooth and effortlessly nostalgic.

You even get to help create your perfect show!

Choose songs from a selection of over 150 laidback tunes featuring great artists like Connie Francis, The Platters, Mama Cass, Elvis, Van Morrison, Carole King, John Denver, Bellamy Brothers, Neil Young, Jewel, Willie Nelson, Adele, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Dean - and many more.

We’ll have the heaters blasting 🔥, mulled wine on arrival for all guests over 18 🍷, the coffee flowing ☕️, and some delicious specials from Head Chef Matt Hayden 🥘. Perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends.

Our last Sunday session was completely booked out so table bookings are essential - don’t miss this cosy end to your week!
