Sometimes running a small business gives you really special full-circle moments ❤️

This week we had Sam join us for work experience. During the week he showed me this photo of himself sitting in our cafe when he was just 6 years old 😊

Years later, seeing him back here learning the ropes behind the counter was pretty special for all of us.

Thanks for all your hard work this week Sam — you should be very proud of yourself 👏

We’re a busy regional café looking for a Head Chef… or a solid chef who’s ready to take that next step into a leadership role.

This isn’t a corporate kitchen. No late nights. No crazy split shifts. Just good food, good people and a team that genuinely backs each other.

We need someone who:

Leads by example (not ego)

Has a calm, personality-driven leadership style

Believes teamwork makes the kitchen run smoothly

Can build routine and consistency without killing the vibe

Wants to be part of something long term

Our customers aren’t just customers — they’re regulars, locals, and feel like family. So we’re big on good energy, consistency and pride in what goes out.
