Would you use our website to place an order?

I've been considering updating my website to include the option to place an order. It could take several weeks to update if I decide to. I'm not very technologically advanced and do all the website back end myself, so it takes time for me to figure it out. But well worth it if itd going to help my customers place an order easier.

I'm beyond excited to be going on a micro holiday this month. Flying with Franklin to Mackay for 4 days to visit my beautiful family. Its been 8 years since I visited Mackay.

I'll be taking a few macaron with me, the only way I can guarantee safe shipping across country 😅

This year will be different. I will be focusing on quality over quantity. Smaller batches to ensure more uniform shells. Small batches of new flavours. Experimenting with different shapes. Making macaron more beautiful than ever!

📌 LONG POST AHEAD

I didn't realise it had been over a month since I posted. I'm taking a little break from baking. I begun the busy Christmas period just 3 weeks after having a baby boy via caesarean. I couldn't even drive myself to markets for another 3 weeks (6 weeks post op). I workwd the busy Christmas period with two kids in tow and with the help of my incredible partner.

Earlier this month, my partner went back to his fifo job. I'm cutting back to one market a month, the Bathurst Farmers Market. Its indoors, easier with the kids and also doesn't require a gazebo, which no longer fits in my car with the two car seats. I've taken this month off to adjust to being a solo parent of two for weeks at a time.

I wanted to be back in February but family commitments have taken priority. I'll be back to baking in March. I'm greatful to have the option to take a break and focus on forming that beautiful bond with my newest little man.
