❗️❗️ Facebook reviews are weird ❗️❗️

On my personal page I can see 13 reviews, on the business page I can only see 4. I'll be posting all my reviews as screenshots this week. As well as some beautiful comments about my business, posted on community pages over the last couple of months.

I'm forever greatful for all the beautiful comments, reviews and even the random compliments about my macaron from strangers in the street 😅

✨ Meet the Face Behind Meringue & Magic ✨

A massive thank you to everyone who shared my page with your friends this week! I've received over 150 new followers across Facebook and Instagram. Its that time again to reintroduce myself!

I’m Bethany, the owner and pastry chef behind Meringue & Magic. I’ve been a pastry chef for over 12 years, working in award‑winning establishments across Sydney and Bathurst. I’ve always loved experimenting with intolerance‑friendly baking — gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and vegan treats became my speciality long before they were popular.

Fast‑forward to today and life looks very different. I’m a mum of two — Oliver, 5, and our newest little love, Franklin, who is almost 10 months old. Oliver is deaf and autistic, which means our weeks are full of appointments and therapy sessions. It can be overwhelming, and it also means returning to the traditional hospitality world isn’t possible right now.

On top of that, my partner works FIFO, so home life is a juggle of solo parenting, therapy schedules, nap routines, and running a small business. Meringue & Magic has now been running for 3 years, and it’s become the perfect balance for our family.

I bake on Oliver’s preschool days, and most of the admin happens late at night — replying to messages, organising orders, and scheduling social media. This little business lets me keep doing what I love while being present for both my boys 🩷
