Escape Place Cafe has been running for almost five years. Over that time, we have had to cope with Covid restrictions and a rising costs of living across the board.. This has resulted in a decline in trade. Not just for us but for many small businesses who have had to close.

It is with deep sadness that we have no choice but to close our doors. It's sad not just for us but also for the many 'regulars' who have graced us with their presence over the years.

So, thank you to everyone who supported us on our journey, the great people we came to regard as family with their interesting conversations along the way.

We will miss you all and hopefully we get to see you all around town from time to time to share those stories again.

Whacky Wednesday is back!

Yep, Wedges (not Wedgies!) every Wednesday topped with sweet chilli sauce & sour cream or sauce of your choice .... up to you!

Don't forget if you bring the kiddies, we won't charge for baby chinos!

We are open 7 days a week from 8am to 2pm. Located in the Bridge Plaza (Woolies) opposite Cignall Batemans Bay. Come say hi, we are a friendly bunch.

Hey fellow travellers .... we have changed our days of trading and will now be closed on Tuesdays. Still open from 8.00am to 2.00pm Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday EXCEPT during school holidays and Easter when we will be open seven days a week.

Come in and try our very popular house made banana bread or carrot/pineapple cake teamed up with a cup of Alfresco coffee!

Don't forget to grab your loyalty card. We will never charge you for a Baby Chino which is basically left over warm milk/froth with a sprinkle of choc powder in a tiny t/a cup.

Well, here at Escape Place, we've gone and turned 'square'. At least our croissants have! For a quick and easy snack, team one up with a regular coffee .... another one of our daily 'specials'.

Don't forget to ask for a loyalty card if you haven't done so already!

No charge for baby chinos and regular 'giveaway' treats for the little ones.

Open 7 days a week from 8am to 2pm weekends and 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

Hi there .... Andrew here once again with a last reminder about our FREE Christmas breakfast commencing 8.00am on Christmas morning at the Lion's Park Batemans Bay.

Santa will be serving up a feast for EVERYONE .... no need to book, just turn up and enjoy some wonderful fellowship, food, music and drinks as well as some treats for the children.

Come along and have fun with the mischievous Christmas Elf who will be there to welcome you ALL.

Morning all

Andrew here again.

Just to remind you about our free Christmas Day Breakfast event at Lion's Park at the end of Clyde Street (opposite Se7en Cafe) from 8.00am. No need to book, just rock up and join in some fellowship!

And, some more good news!

The Salvation Army’s morning tea will be open to EVERYONE on Christmas Day following the morning service at the top of the Old Princes Highway, Batemans Bay.

Our community is truly fortunate to have so many welcoming options – whether you’d like to join in for breakfast, morning tea or lunch, there’s a place for you.

This is what community is all about …. coming together, supporting one another and making sure no one spends this special day of the year alone.

We now have more than enough volunteers thank you!
