Nothing brings a Maltese family together like the smell of home cooking on a Sunday afternoon. 🇲🇹❤️

From rich Stuffat tal-Fenek simmered for hours to warm, flaky Pastizzi straight from the bakery—we all have that one dish that immediately takes us back home.

But we want to know: What is your absolute FAVOURITE Maltese dish?

Oh what a night it was! An event like this doesn’t just happen. It has taken hundreds of volunteer hours to put together such a memorable night. Many thanks go to:

✨Gaye Galea: Our lead organiser who took the reins and made everything happen.
✨Yola: Managing ticket sales, preparing equipment, and countless odd jobs.
✨Our Marvellous Culinary Crew: Ray, Carmen, Maria, Ivan, Lee-Anne, Wendy, Maurice, and Gaye G. for feeding our souls (and stomachs!).
✨Greg: Our star maintenance man, working tirelessly both in the lead-up and all through the night.
✨Albert: For his non-stop, hard work behind the scenes during the event.
✨Emily: Our bartender extraordinaire, keeping the drinks flowing and the spirits high.
✨Melissa: Advertising, photos, and decorations.
✨Gaye P. & Gabriel: For their invaluable help with odd jobs leading up to the big night.

Plus everyone who jumped in to help set up, serve, clean up and pack down. There are honestly so many hands that made this possible!

And, of course, thank you to all of our guests who supported this event. With out you, there would be no club, and no wonderful memories like Saturday night!

L’Imnarja at the Maltese Club  🇲🇹✨🎉

It might have been cold outside, but inside it was warm like a summer’s night in Malta!

The Maltin u Għawdxin had their pride on, as guests delighted in Maltese home-cooking, and danced the night away to the fantastic band  . They crooned and rocked the night away, and the dance floor was filled to the very last song! 🎸💃🏼

In between sets we were treated to some għana and even a glimpse at the traditional għonella, modelled through the room.
